New Year's Inspiration & Having a Supportive Morning Routine
A Message for the New Year
I really enjoy the newness that stepping into a brand new year brings. I don't enjoy the pressure of resolutions, or the stress of fostered perfectionism, simply because we have a new calendar year ahead of us.
We can meet ourselves, exactly as we are, taking in the learned lessons from the shadows and lights of the previous year, and the unknowns of the year to come.
We are wiser than before, as we have gained knowledge from experience. We have suffered and laughed.
We do not have a clean slate stepping into 2021, rather, we can freshly hold ourselves to account for a breath of newness that we know is deeply possible.
We are what we eat. Join me this year on a journey of filling our bodies more deeply with nutrient-rich vegetables, organic proteins, and healthy fats!
Join me in doing your best, meeting yourselves moment-to-moment on the path of higher health through food, deep nutrition, and balanced lifestyle, doing what you can to fill your cup first so you can be present and healthy for those you love.
Drawing From the Power of a Morning Routine
Chris Kresser outlines a morning routine suggestion, and I find it very helpful, practical, and inspiring!
I have had a morning routine for years, and listening to Chris Kresser's words have inspired me to refine my routine.
It's helping me to ground into my day with more ease.
A morning routine is such a helpful practice to incorporate into one's life, and no better time than the New Year to experiment with this!
Thanks Chris!
With love,
Maria
